We need your enthusiastic support! Sign up right now >> Recruitment form
Education is the passport to a bright future, and this is especially true for the underprivileged, yet they are barred by their social status from obtaining this passport and trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty. This is what the CHOICE mentorship programme is for — to bring hope and crucial aid to grassroots students, and we need you to contribute to this grand vision!
Why this mentorship programme is beneficial to both the mentee and YOU
Students often have much less exposure due to their lack of connection and wealth. Sometimes simple information about competitions and events they can join or university application allows them to make a well-informed decision which can have a life-long impact!
For you, the mentor, not only is talking and playing with kids a fun thing to do to relieve stress during the intense Lent term, but also a valuable opportunity for you to acquire various transferable skills a mentor should have. In a CV this may demonstrate your strong communication skill and awareness to social issues, definitely a must-need item!
