Cambridge Hong-Kong Operation for International Children’s Education (CHOICE) is a group of Cambridge University Hong Kong students that share vision and drive of making a difference in the world around us. As students, we are often reminded of the many social issues in the world, and as responsible world citizens, we aim to do everything in our power to alleviate these issues.
What we hope to achieve can be summarized as follows:
- To work with local NGOs and communities in various developing countries to learn about, target, and ultimately alleviate pressing issues.
- To inspire and strengthen the interests of our volunteers towards issues in the developing world through participation in rigorous development projects and exchange of cultural values
- To make good use of our positions as privileged students in order to gather and mobilize resources as best we can, and deliver them to places in need through carefully targeted projects
